1. Pathfinder Inflatable SUP
The PathFinder ISUP is a very impressive board for a very low price. This board is designed to be extremely durable made with high quality PVC and a multi-layer drop stitch pattern. This means that two layers of PVC are bound together to make them incredibly strong yet flexible enough to collapse the board when it is being deflated. The combination of PVC (a strong material) and drop stitch construction make this board particularly long-lasting.
This expansive SUP is made to be very user friendly. People who have never touched an inflated paddle board are finding it very simple to inflate and head to the water. The inflation process takes only minutes if even that and involves very little effort to get this pumped up. In addition to that, it comes with accessories (such as a paddle and pump) to make it an even better value for your buck. Reviewers all over praise this board for its lightweight nature as well as for its impressive performance out on rivers, lakes, and even waves. The result is that this is the best cheap inflatable stand up paddle board that is designed for durability.
2. PEAK Stand Up Paddle Board
The PEAK offers their best inflatable stand up paddle board which boasts a number of great features. At 6 inches thick, it is particularly stable in the water. At more than 10 feet long, this board is also the right shape for activities (such a yoga and fishing) that require a little extra stability. This board is the best paddle board for yoga use. It keeps you super stable in the water so you can try different yoga moves. You might fall off a couple times at first but you will get the hang of it in no time!
The Military-grade PVC and drop stitch construction make this board exceptionally strong. Solid reviews of this isup testify to its performance and durability. It Includes accessories (travel paddle, ankle leash, carry back pack, dual action pump, travel fin, and even a repair kit) add to this board’s overall value and you’re getting the best inflatable stand up paddle board and all its accessories for super cheap! 2. SPORTSSTUFF 1030 iSUP
Strength and light weight define the SPORTSSTUFF iSUP. This board is only 4 inches thick, and weighs only 27 pounds. However, this board may seem light but it can handle up to 250 pounds of weight and consistently receives positive reviews for its strength. Also it does not buckle or take on water when you are standing on it.
In addition to that, this board comes with a complete package of accessories that allows you to use it without any additional purchases. These accessories include an adjustable paddle, removable seat, tow rings, hand pump, pressure gauge, valve wrench, mesh backpack, fin, and board leash. These accessories, along with the board’s excellent design and strong reviews, make it one of the best boards around.
3. Tower Adventurer 2 10’4” iSUP
Tower’s Tower Adventurer 2 is the new and improved version of the original Tower Adventurer. At 10’4” long, this board is longer than the original and designed specifically for speed and maneuverability through different types of water. The Tower Adventurer 2 also boasts the same thickness (6 in.), military-grade PVC, and drop stitch construction that make both Adventurers rigid and extremely durable. However, this inflatable SUP inflates to a higher PSI (25 instead of 15) in order to provide even greater stability in the water. This is good especially for beginners that way they aren’t constantly falling off the board.
The Tower Adventurer 2 also boasts convenient accessories. For instance, this stand up paddle board comes with a higher quality paddle, a bungee, and carry handles on the front and back of the actual board for easy transporting from lakes to the ground. These features, combined with a compact deflated size (12in. X 33in.), an included pump, and proven durability make the Tower Adventurer 2 a smart choice for paddle boarders of all experience levels This board will provide you with an immense amount of fun throughout the years to come!
5. Bestway Hydro-Force Stand Up Paddleboard SUP
The Bestway Hydro-force is a very affordable isup. If you are looking for a good quality board but can’t afford to break the budget then this is the board for you. This board is actually designed for children. You don’t have to be a child to use it but originally it was designed for a child. This is an entry level board which just means it’s a very classic simple board for beginners. This is a narrow board that will only be able to hold around 200 pounds. If your just cruising lakes and rivers this board will work just fine for you but if you want to surf or tour I suggest getting a different board that is longer and wider.
This board was also made to help you navigate water easier since beginners usually buy this board. It is made with a drop stitch material which makes the board studier. Once the board is inflated it feels just like a regular fiberglass hard board. Lastly the board comes with an anti-slip pad to keep you from slipping when water gets rough. If you have any questions about this board please let us know.
4. Tower Adventurer 9’10” Inflatable SUP
This is hands down my favorite iSUP of all time right now. It is very affordable, can handle a decent amount of weight and is just a great all around SUP. It is super easy to store with it being able to be rolled up to only 1 foot in diameter. This is a total game changer when it comes to storage ability of an inflatable paddle board. There is no reason why someone wouldn’t be able to store this.
Not only is this board easy to transport and store it is also indestructible! With some paddle boards you have to stress over dings and cracks in your board but not with the tower paddle board. This board is made with a super thick pvc material to last you a lifetime in and out of the water. I have reviewed the board in the past, which you can read right here. If you get this board, do not be surprised to see some other paddlers out there on the same one. It is really that good of a board that lots of people end up getting it.
6. ISLE Airtech Inflatable 10’4 Yoga Stand Up Paddle Board
The ISLE inflatable sup is actually one of my favorite ISUPS on the market for 2017. There are so many aspects about this board that make it one of the best inflatable paddle boards. This board can be inflated to 15 PSI and can hold up to 300 pounds! It is extremely versatile for anybody allowing the beginners to take things slow and the professionals can go out to open water for some touring.
A great feature about this board is the ability for the board to perform really well while doing yoga. The board is extremely stable and will hold up in some windy weather when you are trying to perform yoga moves. It’s also a great board just for cruising and having fun with your friends on the water. If you are looking for an all-around great sup then this is the board for you. I had to put this board on my list of the best inflatable paddle board reviews because this is my all time and go to board!
7. Solstice Bali Stand Up Paddleboard
The Solstice Bali is the best isup for multitasking. This board seems like it was made by taking positives and negatives in consideration from all the other paddle board bands out on the market. This board can be used for all different types of SUP activities. You can use this board for touring, yoga, riding waves, and even just simply on a still lake.
You will fall in love with this isup at first sight! It is a very attractive board colored with cool contrasting colors. It looks amazing as you are gliding through the water. If you have an ISUP that looks as good as this one you will want to take it out on the water every day!
8. Vilano Navigator 10′ iSUP
When it comes to paddleboards the Vilano Navigtor 10′ is a great choice. People who are just starting their paddle boarding adventures will love the price point of this ISUP. If you are looking for a great time on the water on the weekends then this board is for you. This board is not designed to ride waves, just nice smooth water.
This iSUP is known particularly for the fact that it feels very much like a hard board when it’s fully inflated (at around 12 PSI). The board sports PVC and a drop stitch construction that make it sturdier and more durable in the water. Its design allows it to travel quickly through the water to enhance your speed, while its small deflated size makes it easy to carry around and not heavy coming out of the water. Reviewers praise the board for its performance and durability, while its 1-year warranty and accessories (paddle, pump, fin, and carry bag) add to its already impressive value.
9. iRocker 10′ Inflatable SUP
This board comes with an all-inclusive package so you get everything you need to maintain your board and all the gear you will need to have a great sup ride. This isup is perfect for all skill levels, whether you are a beginner or expert this board will provide you will great balance, speed, and cruise ability through the water.

Why Should You Buy iSUPs?
Inflatable stand up paddle boards, also known as inflatable SUPs, have become a very popular addition to paddle boarding. While there were originally concerns about these boards’ ability to compete with hard boards in the areas of durability and performance, the best inflatable SUP boards have proven these concerns wrong. However, you may wonder whether it is worth your hard earned money to purchase an inflatable SUP instead of a regular hardboard.
If you have these concerns, you may find it helpful to see the advantages that inflatable SUP boards bring to the paddle boarding experience. From compactness to affordability, these advantages make purchasing an iSUP a smart decision. Following is an overview of just a few of the reasons that you may find it beneficial to buy an iSUP instead of a regular hard board for your next paddle boarding experience.
Inflatable SUPs are compact.
One of the biggest reasons that paddle boarders purchase iSUPs is because they are compact. Regular hard boards can be between 7 and 12 feet long and do not fold up in any way. While their size might be useful out on the water, it can be very difficult to get a board of that size from place to place. For example, fitting a 10-foot board into a small car can be tricky and leave you without very much room for passengers. If you live in a small space, you might not have a place to store a large hard board.
Inflatable SUPs, on the other hand, are designed to be compact. While these boards are often as large as a regular hard board when inflated, they deflate quickly and easily into a much smaller size. In fact, the best inflatable SUPs fold down into the size of a sleeping bag. In this shape, they are easy to throw into the trunk of your car or store in a closet in your home. This compact size makes it easy for anyone to enjoy paddle boarding, no matter how small their car or their living space might be.
Inflatable SUPs are easy to carry.
Tower Adventurer regular hard boards also force you to carry a long, wide, and heavy board from your home to your car and from your car to the water (and back again). Their size and shape can make it very difficult to carry them around. For example, if you are not a large or strong person, you might find it impossible to handle the board’s awkward shape and size. You might accidentally hit other people or things as you turn corners or walk through a crowded beach. Some inflatable iSUP reviews even note that the need to carry hard boards back and forth from the water was enough to keep them from paddle boarding as much as they wanted to.
Inflatable SUPs, on the other hand, are appealing because their compact size (when deflated) makes them much easier to carry. The sleeping bag shape can be tucked under your arm, for example. And, it is much less likely to whack other people or things on the way through the beach to the water’s edge. Inflatable SUP reviews often note that even smaller people can easily handle their iSUPs because of the small shape and size. And, because they are so simple to store, transport, and use, they make it much easier to get out on the water whenever you feel like it.
Inflatable SUPs are lightweight.
The weight of any paddle board will vary depending upon how it is designed. However, in general, hard boards are heavier than are inflatable SUP boards. The reason is that iSUPs are usually made from PVC or epoxy foam, which is much lighter than the denser products used to make hard boards. Thanks to the use of this lighter material, iSUPs usually do not weigh more than about 30 pounds. Many of them, especially if they are designed to be light weight, weigh less than that.
The lighter your board is, the easier it is to handle. For example, getting the board in and out of your car or onto the water is much harder with a 40 pound board than with a 25 pound board. Even 5 or 10 pounds of difference in weight can make the difference between a manageable weight and an unmanageable weight for some people. As a result, the light weight nature of inflatable SUPs opens up the possibility of paddle boarding to a wider range of individuals.
Inflatable SUPs are durable.
Most people do not question the durability of a hard paddle board. However, it has been the durability of inflatable SUPs that has often been the biggest question in many people’s minds. However, iSUPs have proven themselves to be remarkably durable products. In fact, in some ways, their durability out strips that of regular paddle boards.
The durability of inflatable SUP boards is due primarily to the technologically advanced material and techniques used to construct them. For example, epoxy foam is remarkably strong. PVC, when stitched together in double layers through drop stitch construction, is capable of resisting almost all dings and scratches.
In addition, inflatable SUPs have an advantage over hard boards when it comes to durability. Traditional fiberglass, used in hard paddle boards, is not as flexible as the PVC and epoxy used in the best inflatable SUPs today. As a result, it is more likely to chip and crack when it undergoes an impact. The more flexible materials of the inflatable stand up paddle board, on the other hand, are capable of bending upon impact without breaking.
Inflatable SUPs are rigid.
Another advantage to inflatable stand up paddle boards is their rigidity. Some cheaper or lower quality iSUPs tend to bend or sag in the middle of the board, especially if they are handling a lot of weight. Some of them even take on water. However, the best inflatable SUPs have none of these problems. Instead, when inflated to a PSI of at least 15, they often rival hard boards in terms of rigidity.
This means that these boards do not sag in the middle, do not take on water, and do not feel soft underfoot. Instead, they are sturdy and capable of handling, on average, more than 200 pounds of weight on them at once. This rigidity makes iSUPs ideal for any number of pursuits, including paddling with a partner, loading up fishing gear for a day out on the water, bringing your pet on board, and more. In fact, many inflatable SUP reviews of the best iSUPs note that these boards look, feel, and act as rigid as a hard board.
Inflatable SUPs are stable.
Finally, you may want to consider purchasing an inflatable SUP because of its stability. Stability is one of the most important factors to consider when purchasing a paddle board. It is a board’s ability to stay upright on the water that allows beginners to keep their footing. It allows you to handle surf and rapids without taking a dunking. It is what allows you to enjoy activities like fishing and yoga without tipping over. As a result, every paddle board, whether inflatable or not, strives for stability.
However, inflatable SUPs often achieve success in this area. Inflatable SUP reviews regularly rate the best inflatable SUPs highly for their stability. This type of board has also earned a reputation as a stable option for beginners. With the combination of stability and durability, you can feel more confident about using an iSUP for your paddle boarding adventures.
There are many reasons to purchase an inflatable stand up paddle board. Ultimately, the choice you make will depend upon your individual preferences. However, the compactness, ease of transport, light weight, durability, and rigidity of inflatable SUPs make them a smart choice for many paddle boarders.
